If you do not send us the supporting documents that we’ve asked for we can’t assess the claim. If you don’t give us all the documents within 45 days, the insurer may reject your claim.

Things to check before submitting your claim:

• That your claim is for an accidental injury, and not an illness (medical conditions, such as diabetes or bronchitis, are not covered).
• That you were actually admitted to hospital and not treated by a doctor or as an outpatient.
• That you are up to date with your monthly payments.
• That the person you want to claim for is listed on your policy.
