What is DOUBLE Airtime and DOUBLE Data?

Every time you Top up with Data or Airtime, we’ll DOUBLE it for FREE. For Example: If you Top up with R100 airtime, we’ll give you R100 airtime for FREE. If you Top up with 100MB of Data using The Unlimited App, we’ll give you 100MB for FREE. Download NOW!

How do I purchase and load data?
  1. Download The Unlimited App from Google Play or the Apple App Store and get DOUBLE Data. Download NOW!


    Purchase a standard Cell C airtime voucher. See it to DOUBLE. Then dial *147# and convert your purchased Airtime to Data.

How do I purchase and load airtime?

Download the Unlimited App from Google Play or the Apple App Store and every time you top up airtime, we’ll DOUBLE it for FREE! Download NOW!

  • Select the buy DOUBLE Airtime option
  • Select Amount needed
  • Add the Cell number that you’d like to load
  • Click proceed
  • Click on add card
  • Enter your Bank card details and click register your card
  • Click Confirm purchase


  1. Go to any airtime vendor and purchase a standard Cell C airtime voucher. To load the airtime voucher, dial *102*Voucher number#


   3. Use your online banking to purchase Cell C Airtime

How long does my airtime and data last?
  • Purchased Airtime lasts for 90 days from the day it was loaded.
  • FREE Airtime lasts for 30 days from the day it was loaded.
  • All Data (purchased or DOUBLE Data) lasts for 30 days from the day it was loaded.
How do I check my airtime balance?

1. Download The Unlimited App from Google Play or the Apple App Store. You can also check your balance, buy Double Airtime, buy Double Data and get a Free Spin every Sunday. Download NOW!

2. Dial *101# from The Unlimited SIM card and it'll display all available balances. (Purchase Airtime, Free Airtime and Data)

Can I port my number to The Unlimited SIM card?

Yes. You can either dial 135 from your the Unlimited SIM card (Free call) or 0861 99 00 00 and one of our Cellular Support Guru's will initiate the port for you.

When will I receive my Free Monthly Airtime?

Every time you purchase airtime.

Every month, as soon as we know your monthly premium has been paid, we will also send you an SMS to let you know that your Free Airtime has been loaded to your The Unlimited sim card.

Can I use my SIM card outside South Africa?

Unfortunately not. The feature isn’t available on our SIM cards yet

Can I make international calls?

Yes, with your purchased Airtime. International rates apply. You can’t use your FREE Airtime to make International calls.

How can I stop my airtime being used up by data?
  1. To stop your Airtime being used for Data, dial *147# and go through the option to “Stop using Airtime for Data”. Please avoid out-of-bundle charges by purchasing a Data bundle through The Unlimited App and we’ll DOUBLE your Data. Download NOW!
  2. In addition, if you haven’t requested to Stop using Airtime for Data from the *147# USSD menu, please turn off automatic updates over mobile Data connections – Select using Wi-Fi for updating Apps and software.
What will cause my SIM card to be deactivated?

If we see no usage on your SIM Card for 90 days, we’ll deactivated it. Your SIM card will remain active if it’s being used. No usage means that you haven’t made or received any calls or used any Data.

If your SIM card is deactivated, call 0861 99 00 00 as soon as possible and request another SIM card. A new number will be allocated to you. Simply keep connecting to stay connected.

What is my mobile number?

Simply dial *147# from The Unlimited SIM card and choose option 4 for self-service

Can I change my mobile number?

Yes. Call 0861 99 00 00 and request help from one of our friendly service gurus

How do I activate my The Unlimited SIM card?

We do the activation for you.

Pop your SIM into your device and switch it on, wait for your phone to display a signal.

If your SIM card is still not Active or showing a signal, give us call at 0861 99 00 00, between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday, or Saturdays and Public Holidays between 08:00 and 13:00. One of our friendly Support Guru's will get you connected.

What can I do if I’ve lost my SIM card or my phone?

Call us immediately at 0861 99 00 00 and we’ll block your lost SIM to prevent you from losing any Airtime or Data. We’ll also initiate a new SIM request. You can pick up your new SIM at any Clicks store nationwide.

Can I get my free monthly airtime onto my primary number?

If your primary number is a prepaid number, you can give us a call 0861 99 00 00 and we’ll port your number onto The Unlimited SIM card. Once this is done, then your FREE Airtime will be loaded onto your primary number.

How can I get another SIM card?

Call 135 (free from your SIM card) or 0861 99 00 00 from any other network provider. You can order your FREE SIM online as well Click HERE

How do I cancel premium-rated services?

These are services that you’ve subscribed to. Simply dial *133* and select 1# and follow the prompts to cancel your subscriptions

Can I use my SIM card in a modem or mobile data device?

Yes. We suggest you give us a call at 0861 99 00 00, to get another SIM card for free and then use The Unlimited App to purchase and load data onto that SIM card.

Does my data double when I’ve converted purchased airtime to data?

Unfortunately, not. Your Airtime was already DOUBLED when you purchased it.

If I cancel this product, can I still use The Unlimited SIM card?

These are services that you’ve subscribed to. Simply dial *133*1# and follow the prompts to cancel your subscriptions.
