Purpose of the Role:

Increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test new initiatives to ensure a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Research new strategies to improve rate of sale.
  • Plan approaches and pitches.
  • Participate in pricing of solutions/services.
  • Research and test new strategies that will attract talent within direct marketing business model.
  • Track and analyse direct and interactive marketing campaigns.
  • Analyse campaign performance and recommend and implement strategic changes to improve our rate of sale.
  • Analyse direct marketing financial data and information and provide recommendations to management.
  • Participate in the development and execution of new customer acquisition higher response rates.
  • Test to optimize creative messaging and “call to action” to maximize returns.
  • Present to and consult with senior leadership on business trends with a view to developing distribution channels.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience
  • Understanding of marketing/mass distribution of product principles
  • Great Communication skills
  • Ability to deal with and influence at all Levels
  • Experience and Passion in developing people
  • Start Up experience an advantage
  • Direct Sales Experience an advantage
  • Negotiation and Persuasion skills
